Do you serve businesses already operating in the UAE, or only new setups?

Both — about half our clients are existing UAE businesses switching from a previous accountant, and half are new ventures setting up for the first time. The discovery call covers either path.

Question 2

Can I bundle services on one monthly retainer?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and most clients do. Bookkeeping + tax + payroll + entity management on one retainer is significantly cheaper and simpler than running them separately. We quote a bundled price after the discovery call.

Question 3

What counts as a transaction?

Accepted Answer

A transaction is any line on your bank or card statement that we record into your books — a sale, a supplier payment, a payroll run, a transfer between accounts, or a refund. We count them per calendar month, so the package you choose is sized to the volume your business actually generates.

Question 4

Can I switch plans later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can move up or down at the start of any month. Most clients begin on the package that matches today's volume and step up as transactions grow — there is no penalty, and your historical records stay intact through the move.

Do you handle past-year filings and clean-up work?

Accepted Answer

We do. If you are behind on bookkeeping, VAT, or Corporate Tax filings, we begin with a one-off catch-up engagement to bring your records current and FTA-compliant. Once you are caught up, your monthly package keeps you that way.

Question 6

Are VAT and Corporate Tax filings included in the monthly fee?

Yes — quarterly VAT returns and Corporate Tax (registration plus the annual return) are included in every package from Startup through Expansion. There is no separate filing fee on top of your monthly retainer.

Question 7

Is the price in AED, and does it include 5% VAT?

All package prices are in UAE Dirhams and are quoted exclusive of VAT. We add the standard 5% on your monthly invoice and provide a tax invoice that you can reclaim where eligible.

Question 8

How do I pay, and is there a long-term contract?

We bill monthly by bank transfer or card, in advance. Engagements run on a rolling monthly basis with 30 days' notice to pause or cancel — we'd rather earn the next month than lock you in.

Which accounting software do you work with?

Accepted Answer

We work natively in Zoho Books, Xero, and QuickBooks Online, and we are happy to migrate you from spreadsheets or legacy desktop software as part of onboarding. If you have a preference, tell us on the discovery call; if you don't, we'll recommend the platform that fits your size and sector.

How quickly can you onboard us?

Most clients are fully onboarded within ten working days of the discovery call. That includes a kick-off session, secure document collection, opening-balance review, and the first reconciled month delivered to you for sign-off.

Will I have a dedicated point of contact?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every engagement is led by a senior accountant who knows your file end to end, supported by a small delivery team. You email or message one person — not a shared inbox — and you'll usually hear back the same working day.

Is my financial data kept confidential and secure?

Accepted Answer

Always. Documents are exchanged through an encrypted client portal, access is restricted to the team assigned to your engagement, and every staff member is bound by a written confidentiality agreement. We retain records in line with UAE statutory requirements.

Question 13

Can you work with us if we don't live in the UAE?

Accepted Answer

Yes — most of our clients are based outside the UAE when they first engage us. We sign and onboard remotely, collect documents through a secure portal, and only need you in person for steps that the authorities require, such as biometrics for your residency visa.
