Do I need to be VAT-registered?

If your taxable supplies and imports exceeded AED 375,000 in the past 12 months, registration is mandatory. Voluntary registration is available from AED 187,500. We'll review your numbers on the discovery call and tell you exactly where you sit.

What's the Corporate Tax rate and threshold?

Corporate Tax in the UAE is 0% on the first AED 375,000 of taxable income and 9% above that. Free-zone entities meeting the qualifying conditions can keep a 0% rate on qualifying income — we'll check whether your activity qualifies.

Can you take over from my current accountant?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and most of our new clients arrive that way. We collect the trial balance and supporting documents from your current provider, reconcile the opening position, and run with it from the next month.

How are you billed?

Most engagements run on a fixed monthly retainer in AED, billed in advance, with VAT shown separately on the tax invoice. One-off projects (company setup, a website build, a relocation move) are quoted up front with no hourly surprises.

Question 5

Can you work with us if we don't live in the UAE?

Accepted Answer

Yes — most of our clients are based outside the UAE when they first engage us. We sign and onboard remotely, collect documents through a secure portal, and only need you in person for steps that the authorities require, such as biometrics for your residency visa.
