Which UAE free zones require audited financial statements?

Most major free zones do — DMCC, DIFC, ADGM, JAFZA, DAFZA, KIZAD and RAKEZ all require annual audited accounts for licence renewal. IFZA and Meydan have sector-based requirements. We confirm what's needed for your specific licence.

Is AML compliance only for banks?

No. The UAE's AML regime extends to designated non-financial businesses and professions: real estate brokers and agents, dealers in precious metals and stones, lawyers, accountants, and corporate service providers. If you fall in any of these, you have AML obligations.

Can you act as our auditor?

We don't sign audit opinions — we prepare you for an independent licensed auditor (we work with several in the UAE) and manage the relationship so you don't have to.

How are you billed?

Most engagements run on a fixed monthly retainer in AED, billed in advance, with VAT shown separately on the tax invoice. One-off projects (company setup, a website build, a relocation move) are quoted up front with no hourly surprises.

Can you work with us if we don't live in the UAE?

Accepted Answer

Yes — most of our clients are based outside the UAE when they first engage us. We sign and onboard remotely, collect documents through a secure portal, and only need you in person for steps that the authorities require, such as biometrics for your residency visa.
